Hot Water Heater Strikes Again

This type of problem is one we see a lot of here at SERVPRO. This accident started from a leaky hot water heater, and because no one noticed mold began to grow.

The remediation work that we must do needs to be handled with care, as there are millions of spores behind the drywall and if not taken with precaution could infect other areas with mold. 

The first thing we do is seal off the area to ensure containment. Next we remove the infected drywall and treat the studs with an antimicrobial to ensure the area is completely clean. We complete all jobs industry standards, as well as completing mold tests before job completion.
